The Yard Food Truck Plaza is located in downtown Temple near Mo's Rail Yard Saloon and Gandy's Barber Shop. The current food trucks stationed at The Yard are Chock Full Of Cheese, You Da Man Noodle Man, Lulamae's Cajun Cuisine, 808 Island Grindz, Taqueria mi Lindo Nayarit, Mama Lama Mobile Kitchen, and Sabor Los Catrachos. The Artist 2 Artist Showcase hosts a market day each First Friday. First Friday attendees can find vendors of all kinds selling their handmade products and art. The event features many local artists and small businesses. The Artist 2 Artist Showcase Market will be set up at 5 S Main St.
 
Stop by O'Brien's to see artist Noel Johnson and purchase one of her acrylic paintings. 
 
Downtown Temple is also home to miniature art train statues and murals. There are currently eight art trains in downtown Temple. Each art train tells a special story about the business and community it represents.
