Annual Events & Festivals
The City of Temple has several incredible events that take place annually throughout the year. Temple Parks and Recreation helps in putting together many of these great events. Our annual events can be anything from fairs and concerts in the park to fireworks shows on the Fourth of July and holiday-themed favorites.
In celebration of National Puppy Day, the City of Temple would like to invite you and your furry, four legged* friend to Santa Fe Plaza on Saturday, March 25, from 11 am to 2 pm.
*fours legs not necessarily required
Bloomin’ Temple Festival, one of Central Texas’s most popular events, attracts over 13,000 people annually and is held the last Friday and Saturday in April. For over 15 years, attendees have enjoyed this two-day festival with various musical entertainment, arts & crafts, festive food, a carnival, children’s activities, and lots of family fun in the historic downtown Temple.
Wonderful fruits, vegetables, taste, and smells await at the Temple Farmer’s Market! West Temple Park (121 Montpark Road) located off West Adams behind Temple Fire Station #7. The next season starts in May 2023.
Draughon-Miller 75th Anniversary Airshow

Hot Summer Sounds is a weekly, free concert series is held during the summer months. Guests are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs, picnic baskets, and whatever else they need to get comfortable as they settle on the Santa Fe Plaza grounds for various great bands and entertainment.
The City of Temple and H-E-B’s Fourth of July celebration is one to remember! This celebratory event is fun for the whole family with food trucks, live music, games, and more. Bring chairs and sit outside as you watch the night explode in beautiful displays of color in this exciting firework show.
Get ready for an evening of tricks and treats, as Temple celebrates Halloween at Fright Fest “Creep Thru” in Downtown Temple. Join our amazing community partners and us at Santa Fe Plaza for a safe night of trick-or-treating and activities.
This Halloween Event is spooky fun for all ages. Take a tour along the beautiful landscape of the Reuben D. Talasek Bend of the River Ranch, see a trail of pumpkins, and get delightfully spooked! This event is a tradition that locals love to participate in.
This parade is filled with floats and displays of all sizes with organizations from all over coming to celebrate the start of the holiday season. With an annual tree lighting ceremony and special guest Santa Claus, this family-friendly event is a must-do during the holidays.
