Golf & Disc Golf

Enjoy a moment outdoors on Temple’s gorgeous landscapes at the golf courses. With two 18-hole courses featuring expansive landscapes, and rolling hills, professional and casual players will enjoy playing a round of golf at either Sammons Golf Course or Wildflower Country Club. Open to the public year-round, these courses will provide you with a morning or afternoon of entertainment. Utilize the driving ranges, pitching and chipping areas, and putting greens for casual practice or fun.

If you’re looking for a recreational outdoor activity, try disc golf at one of Temple’s courses. Temple is home to three disc golf courses of varying lengths and challenging terrains. Crossroads Park, South Temple Park, and Lions Park have disc golf courses ranging from 18 to 27 baskets.  Bell County also has two additional disc golf courses in Belton at Heritage Park and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Spend the afternoon playing a casual round of this fun and active outdoor sport.
