Museums

Located in Central Texas, Temple is home to several museums rich in history and cultural heritage.  Originally founded as a Railroad town, Temple now houses the Temple Railroad & Heritage Museum inside the historic Santa Fe Depot. Visitors can also learn about the Czechoslovakian roots of Temple’s settlers at the Czech Heritage Museum or visit the Temple Children’s Museum for a hands-on experience.

Each museum is educational, rich in history, and family-friendly. With permanent and temporary exhibits, these museums are always updating and adding new additions to their exhibit halls.
