Museums

Located in Central Texas, Temple is home to several museums rich in history and cultural heritage.  Originally founded as a Railroad town, Temple now houses the Temple Railroad & Heritage Museum inside the historic Santa Fe Depot.  Visit the Temple Children’s Museum for a hands-on experience in downtown Temple. 

Each museum is educational, rich in history, and family-friendly. With permanent and temporary exhibits, these museums are always updating and adding new additions to their exhibit halls.
