Paws For Play Time

Back to Top of List

It's important for dogs to have plenty of time outdoors to play and get enough exercise. While the downtown district has plans to create more outdoor spaces for people and their furry friends, there is already a great green space available at the Santa Fe Plaza. The Santa Fe Plaza is a large outdoor area with fountains and enough space for dogs to roam around. Make sure to bring a leash in case other dogs are around, as well as your dog's favorite toys. Spend some quality time outdoors in front of the historic Santa Fe Depot.

If you want to play a long game of fetch, head over to the MLK Festival Grounds in Downtown Temple. There are miles of space for your dog to run around and play. Remember to clean up after your pet and take everything back home with you when you leave.

Your dog will surely enjoy the great playtime in these green spaces.
