3 Texans is a family-owned winery and vineyard located in Temple. The vineyard was created in 2009 with the planting of 4,000 grapevines. An additional 1,000 grapevines has been planted since its opening and a tasting room was added in 2019. With an outdoor patio and indoor space, guests can enjoy a relaxing afternoon of wine tasting overlooking the vineyards on the patio or in the air conditioning. The 3 Texans Winery has an exquisite selection of flavors boasting decadent aromas and berry tastes. Enjoy a wine flight that allows you to sample five different wines for the low cost of $15. Want the perfect pairing of cheese to go with your wine? 3 Texans sells a charcuterie board for $22. This local vineyard is open Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 7 PM.
This winery also hosts a few special events and live performances throughout the year. On July 30th guests can stop by the vineyard for live music and tasty food from 1 PM to 4 PM. Gabor Nicholson will be performing and Mama Lama food truck will be at the winery all day.
Moose & Goose Winery is another great winery found in Temple. This winery is open in July by appointment only. If you're looking to stop by for Wine & Cheese Day you may have to book an appointment or wait until after this national day to experience this local winery.
