Head over to Crossroads Park for a free family activity of disc golf. The area has several courses, and disc golf is a fun pastime for local Temple and Belton residents. Crossroads Disc Golf course is a fun course to try with the family. With 27 holes and a mixture of open and wooded areas, dads will find this course to be a fun challenge they are ready to conquer. This activity will likely entertain the family for hours if you want to get through the entire course.

Visit the neighboring city of Belton for an afternoon on the lake. Belton Lake has several access points for boat ramps. At these access points are trails, fishing spots, and swimming areas. For dads who love the outdoors, this is an activity they will thoroughly enjoy. Bring your fishing and outdoor supplies, and take a few hours to relax and have a good time on the water.

Plan an outing to Spare Time for a night of bowling, laser tag, or arcade games. Additionally, Spare Time offers a daily special called Sunday Funday. You can grab some shoes and bowl all day. If you're looking for more reasons to head outdoors, Spare Time also has several outdoor activities for the family, such as batting cages, go-karts, ropes course, and sand volleyball.
