Raise a glass to Temple!

The City of Temple is proud to announce it is now a Brew City. Participation in the Brew City, Texas program began on August 1, 2024, in celebration of the city’s reputation as a growing hub for local craft beer enthusiasts and travelers alike. As a member of the program launched by the Texas Craft Brewers Guild in March 2024, the City of Temple affirms its dedication to promoting craft beer tourism and fostering economic growth for local hospitality and manufacturing businesses.

“This is a fantastic opportunity for the City of Temple to expand and thrive in the brewery industry,” said Teresa Anderson, Destination Marketing Division Director for the City of Temple. “We are thrilled to continue welcoming locals and visitors to the many community attractions and breweries our city has to offer.”

Temple offers a unique experience with local craft brews and plenty of space for those looking to become the newest brew in town.

Currently, the Lone Star State has over 400 breweries. Craft beer contributes a staggering $4.5 billion annually to the Texas economy and supports more than 30,000 jobs.

The City of Temple joins neighboring cities like Killeen and Waco united in their mission to showcase the best Texas craft beer and enhance economic opportunities for local businesses. Through collaborative marketing, education, and outreach efforts with the Brew City, Texas program, the City of Temple looks forward to continuing to raise the bar for craft beer excellence and welcoming visitors to experience the best of what the city has to offer.
