Visiting Downtown Temple is easy, and parking is convenient and free. Whether you are coming for dining, shopping, an event, or a day of exploring, there are several options located just steps from local businesses and attractions.
Free On-Street Parking
Downtown offers free two-hour parking along most streets, making it easy to stop in, grab a bite, browse local shops, or visit nearby attractions. On-street parking spaces are located throughout the downtown district and are clearly marked.
If you plan to stay longer, additional parking is available nearby in public garages and lots.
Public Parking Garages
Downtown Temple has two free public parking garages that provide convenient access to shops, restaurants, offices, and community spaces. These garages are ideal for longer visits, downtown events, or exploring multiple blocks of downtown.
- Extraco Parking Plaza features 242 parking spaces on three floors with an open staircase.
- 6th Street Parking Garage features 415 parking spaces spread across six levels, with retail space on the ground level, and an elevator and an open staircase.
Both garages include EV Flo charging stations for visitors traveling with EVs. Charging with the Flo App costs $3 per hour, capped at 4 hours. FLO CoRe+ V2 will charge at up to 7.2 kW (30A max)
