Rucks On Main Memorial Day 10K Ruck March

Rucks On Main is a non-profit organization that will host a military-themed ruck march twice a year at the Santa Fe Plaza in downtown Temple, Texas.
This event is open to eveyone who wishes to participate. Participants can register in advance @ www.rucksonmain.org/registration, or in-person on the day of the event (credit card only).
Online registration will be $37, and will increase to $55 one month before the event, and day of event. We cannot guarantee t-shirts, challenge coins, or sponsor logo placement on t-shirts if you register within 30 days of event. Make sure to register early! You can register as an individual, or create/join a team. We suggest to bring your team!
For the Memorial Day ruck march we ask everyone to place a picture of a fallen soldier/s they have lost on their ruck sack/backpack. Ruckers will fill their rucksacks / backpacks with non-perishable food items (up tp 40lbs) that they will carry while they ruck. Once you cross the finish line all food items will be collected and donated to a charitable food organization.
All participants will receive a t-shirt and a wristband when they check in between 7:30am – 9am. At 9am ruck marchers will step off to complete a 6-mile ruck through downtown Temple and historic neighborhoods in North Temple. Everyone who crosses the finish line will receive a challenge coin and a free beer (Must be 21) for completing the ruck march.
After completing the ruck march, we will place all of the ruck sacks / backpacks on the Santa Fe Plaza grass area for a photo op. We will line them up by branch of service.
