Spring is here, and outdoor events are in full swing. The Temple Breakfast Lions Club Music Festival is a large-scale concert held at the MLK Festival Grounds in downtown Temple. The Temple Breakfast Lions Club Music Festival is a family-friendly event in downtown Temple. This unique event features live music from many great bands and singers/songwriters, as well as on-site food and local business vendors. The music festival benefits the Texas Lion's Camp. Texas Lion's Camp invites children to try things they may have thought were out of their reach- all in a safe and inviting atmosphere. 

The event will include a Kids Zone with activities for children. Guests can bring blankets and chairs to the event. Clear bags are recommended. The MLK Festival Grounds will open at 2:30 PM. Guests are encouraged to plan ahead and get to the venue early to get a parking spot.

The music festival takes place on Saturday, April 1st. The event will take place from 3 PM to 11 PM.

The event will be held at the MLK Festival Grounds. The MLK Festival Grounds have been newly renovated. This will be the first large-scale event held at the MLK Festival Grounds since renovations took place.

Eric Paslay

  • Former camper of the Texas Lion's Camp. As a child, Eric Paslay received life-changing benefits from the camp. He is returning to Temple, Texas, Paslay's hometown, to perform a concert in honor of the Texas Lion's Camp. Temple native, Eric Paslay, will perform from 9 PM to 10 PM. 

Holly Tucker

  • American Country music artist, Holly Tucker, starred in season 4 of The Voice. Holly Tucker will be performing from 10 PM to 11:30 PM. 

Tylor Bigley

  • Tylor Bigby features the styling and arrangements of country southern rock. Tylor Bigley will perform from 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM.

Jay White - Blues Commander

  • Jay White - Blues Commander features a Blues-style musical flair. Jay White - Blues Commander will perform from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. 

Jean-Pierre & the Zydeco Angels

  • Jean-Pierre & the Zydeco Angels feature down-home, good-time party music. With music featuring traditional and modern zydeco influence, Jean-Pierre & the Zydeco Angels will keep you on the dance floor and having a great time. Jean-Pierre & the Zydeco Angels will take the stage from 6 PM to 7 PM. 

Backroads Band

  • Rock n' roll meets blues when it comes to the Backroads Band. Backroads Band performs from 3 PM to 4 PM.
