Spring is here! The wildflowers are in full bloom, the sun is out, and the outdoor festivities and events are just around the corner. Now is the perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy festivities before the weather heats up. The Bloomin’ Temple Festival has been regarded as a fan-favorite local event for several years. This modified version of the event, Lil’ Bit O’ Bloomin’, is a FREE family-friendly experience with plenty to see, do, and shop. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming festival.
This City of Temple festival is a family-friendly event that takes place in downtown Temple. This special event will feature live music from ten great bands and singer/songwriters as well as plenty of food and local business vendors. Experience laughter, fun, and entertainment at a local event you won’t want to miss. Lil’ Bit O’ Bloomin’ is free to attend this year and will provide you and your family or friends with a day full of fun.
The festival takes place on Friday, April 29th and Saturday, April 30th. Friday night’s festivities will begin at 6:00 PM and end at 10:00 PM. Starting at 11:00 AM, the Saturday event for Lil’ Bit O’ Bloomin’ will end at 10:00 PM.
The event will be held along the Santa Fe Plaza, Santa Fe Market Trail, and The Yard Food Truck Plaza. Head to downtown Temple at 301 W. Avenue A for the location to this special event.
Saturday at Lil' Bit O' Bloomin' just got even better! This great event will feature incredible strolling acts from Aqua Acro sponsored by Hefty. Attendees can expect to see amazing performers such as a juggler, stilt walker, and acro mime. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Aqua Acro is traveling a long way to provide entertainment for this special event. These talented strolling performers will be out around the event starting at 6 PM on Saturday, April 30th.
Yes! From 12 PM to 4 PM Saturday, April 30th there will be a Kids Zone. The West Temple Orthodontics Kids Zone will feature a chalk walk, interactive yarn art installation, giant bubble station, mascot meet up, sensory play station music wall, jumbo Lego zone, face painting and crafts provided by Unincluded and Maribel's Flower Boutique.
Lil' Bit O' Bloomin' is an outdoor, special event which means you're going to be spending a lot of time in the sun and out around the event area. Guests can bring lawn chairs and coolers to the event to have a comfortable spot to sit and keep a few cold drinks handy.
