Holiday Inn Temple-Belton hosts drive for Pet Supplies and Winter Clothing as part of IHG’s Giving for Good month
Holiday Inn Temple-Belton has today announced that we are participating in 2 separate drives in the month of September as part of IHG’s Giving for Good month – raising awareness for IHG’s community giving program, True Hospitality for Good.
Holiday Inn Temple-Belton will be showing its support for IHG’s Giving for Good month by hosting a Pet Supplies Drive for our local animal shelter, Temple Animal Shelter & Pet Adoption Center Animal Control-Shelter-Adoption, as well as volunteering to help with several projects there and a Winter Clothing/Jacket Drive benefiting the Feed My Sheep Temple Ministry. We will be accepting donations inside our lobby from September 1st –September 30th, 2018. Our goal is to raise awareness about the local needs for both our furry friends and the winter months that are coming.
Pet Supplies Drive: Temple Animal Shelter has asked for the following type donations: Clay cat litter, cleaning supplies, old towels (or new) kitten chow, small blankets, dog food (canned or dry), cat food (canned or dry), animal toys, collars, leashes.
Winter Clothing/Jacket Drive: We will be accepting donations of gently used winter clothing and jackets that can help our community members stay warm this winter.
True Hospitality for Good is IHG’s flagship program for communities and charitable giving, which focuses on making local impact on a global scale. As part of this program, Giving for Good is a month dedicated to IHG colleagues coming together to make a positive change through volunteering, taking care of the environment, or activities focused on health, fitness and wellbeing. What’s more, for every IHG colleague that gets involved, IHG will make a donation to our nominated charity partner, SOS Children’s Village Program.
